Title: Special Interest Project #9: Investigation of Pedometers and Step Counters for Physical Activity Promotion. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The purpose of this study is to (a) translate current physical activity recommendations into pedometer-based step indices, and (b) evaluate the efficacy and sustainability of a pedometer-based walking intervention designed to increase levels of moderate intensity physical activity in an underserved Latino community sample.

The purpose of this project is to develop, implement, and evaluate the effects of a non-aquatic physical activity program on health-related and functional fitness in adults with arthritis.
