Single Subject Teaching Credential in Physical Education


Students who desire to teach physical education, particularly in the elementary and secondary public schools of California, must complete this academic major prior to entry into the Teacher Credential Program of the School of Education. Students can gain support for their interests through the student oraganization, Future Physical Educators,which promotes them bringing their classroom knowledge to applicable, hands on experience.


Kinesiology Major Requirements

B.S. Degree - Physical Education

Students majoring in kinesiology are required to:

  1. Meet all University graduation requirements as listed in the General Catalog.
  2. Complete one of the four Kinesiology emphases offered by the Department.
