Housing
The Foundation for International Education offers two housing options:

Option A:

Shared Homestay- Accommodations in twin-bedded rooms in homes in outer London within  commuting distance of Foundation House. Breakfast is provided in homestays 5 days a week along with access to kitchen and other facilities. A multi-zone travel card may be purchased in any Underground Station.

Option B: Student residences are in the Kensington area located within walking distance of the Metrogate Center. Most Foundation Housing is Victorian and Edwardian, renovated for student use. All housing is designed to be self-catering, whether self-contained flats with small kitchenettes or dorm-type housing with fully equipped kitchens on every floor with tables and seating. There is a TV in every bedroom or flat and coin-operated laundry rooms with washer-dryers. Public telephones are on every floor in Metrogate Center or on the landing between the ground and first floor in the Collingham and Knaresborough studio flats. Rooms are cleaned and linen changed on a weekly basis in all housing. There is 24 hour security/reception service at Metrogate Center.

Personal information provided by the student on the London Semester Application is taken into consideration  when pairing roommates and the student can also indicate a roommate preference. Students may remain in Foundation housing until December 21, one week after the end of the semester, without a fee increase.
