Venture Challenge™

International MBA business plan competition

Venture Challenge 2010
March 18-20, 2010
San Diego Marriott La Jolla

This innovative international graduate business plan competition gives graduate students from around the world an opportunity to seek investment in their business ideas. The event draws student teams from top global universities and provides them with a forum to present to potential investors and to earn more than $25,000 in awards. A distinguished panel of experts from entrepreneurial companies, venture capital firms, investors and service providers judge the entries over the three day competition and provide valuable feedback to the teams.

The Venture Challenge™ Exhibit Fair, Semi-Finalist and Finalist presentations are open to the public and the campus and business communities are encouraged to attend. By providing experiential learning opportunities for its students, SDSU has achieved national recognition and has been designated a top program for entrepreneurs by Inc., Entrepreneur, and U.S. News & World Report magazines.

Supported through the philanthropy of dedicated donors such as Qualcomm, Inc., SDSU alumni and community support, Venture Challenge ™ welcomes your participation and sponsorship.

To provide a relatively level "playing field" for student teams from around the world, the directors of the major competitions have developed the following set of rules that all participating teams are expected to satisfy. At the same time, the directors recognize that no set of rules, no matter how thorough or carefully developed can ever cover all circumstances. Accordingly, all teams and the universities that they represent are expected to abide by the specific rules enumerated below as well as the overall spirit of these competitions. The directors reserve the right to disqualify any team that violates the rules, regulations or the spirit of the competitions.
