Harvey Goodfriend is currently a lecturer in the College of Business Management Department and EMC Director of External Programs. He holds bachelors and masters degrees in Management from SDSU with additional graduate study at UCLA. He served for 36 years as Chief Executive Officer of Aztec Shops, Ltd., and the SDSU nonprofit auxiliary commercial enterprise with annual revenues of $32 million. He was the founder and first General Manager of the Collegiate Stores Cooperative, which grew to become the largest purchasing organization in the campus stores industry. Harvey coached the SDSU team that took first place in the University of Nebraska Business Plan competition in 1999 and has mentored several business plan teams over the past four years.
