Frequently Asked Questions about the Economics Minor
 

What are the required classes for the Economics minor?
All minors must take:

  • Economics 102

  • Economics 320 OR 321

  • THREE upper-division courses, with all three selected from one of the following groups:

  • Public Economy: choose three from Economics 311, 330, 380, 382, 401, 452, 453, 454, 458, 490

  • Trade and Commerce: chose three from Economics 336, 338, 360, 422, 453, 464, 465, 489, 490, 561, 565, 592

  • Quantitative Economics: chose three from Economics 301, 320 or 321 (whichever not taken to fulfill above requirement), 441, 507

What if my catalog year is earlier than 2000-2001?
The requirements for the minor are the same as above for 2001-2002 and 2000-2001  but were significantly different prior to 2000-2001.  If your catalog year is earlier than 2000-2001, see an advisor for your specific requirements.
