Certificate in Professional Writing : Cost

The cost of the certification depends on how you apply for the certification.
  1. Through the College of Extended Studies
    The College of Extended Studies is for those who are no longer in school and wish to learn new career skills. If you apply to the Certificate through Extended Studies, the cost is $197 per unit. To complete the Certificate you need to take seven three-unit classes. Note that you may be able to transfer 6 units of professionally relevant, high-level course work to the Certificate. See the Program Director for more details.

  2. As an SDSU student
    For undergraduates, the cost is:
    • 0-6 units $1323
    • 6+ units $1962

Fees are schedule to rise for Fall 2010.

If you graduated from SDSU within the last year, you can maintain your student status and apply to the Certificate program as an SDSU student.
