Be sure to sign up for Skull and Dagger at the booth! Memberships range from $9 to $17 and don't forget: If you were a member and you join with someone who has never been a member, we'll sign you both up for a year with a T-shirt for only $14 each!
First Meeting
The first meeting of the year is at noon, Wednesday, September 6 at Scripps Cottage. We'll be having food so come on by. Remember that we're also moving the meetings from Wednesdays to Mondays so the second meeting will be on Monday, September 11.
Party!
Don't forget the party this weekend at Ski Beach! We've got meat, chips, and paper goods...you'll need to bring everything else. Talk to President Dan for information or look on the S&D Board.
Subscriptions
Now, some of you will need to see all the shows this semester for classes. So why aren't you buying a Season Ticket? If you're in the play, you'll only get one comp ticket...are you sure you'll only invite one friend or parent? Buy the Subscription (at $15 or $18, it's a steal!) and that way you'll be able to get both of your friends in. Worried that they won't be able to make it on the date you pick? Don't worry! You can exchange your tickets for another night at least 24 hours in advance. And there's more! You can buy two Subscriptions on one Student ID, so convince a buddy to come watch the shows and get a discount for both of you. Fill out the form on the back and take it to the Box Office between the hours of 10 and 2 Monday through Friday and get set for the season: Atlantis, Romeo and Juliet, and Yours, Anne.
Auditions
Speaking of Yours, Anne, auditions are coming up September 11-13. Look for the posters for time and place.
Speaker Barry Mann
Our guest speaker at the meeting on Wednesday will be Barry Mann. He'll be giving a talk titled, "Creating Your Career."
Trivia Contest
Well, here we go with the first question of the Trivia Contest. Rules are simple: I give you a quote and you tell me what the play is. Write your answer down on a piece of paper and put it in the Skull and Dagger box up in the Office. Winners (selected at random in the case of a tie) will win a half pound of coffee from Starbucks (or other coffee product). And don't forget, the S&D member with the most number of correct answers wins two tickets to Sea World! Here goes:
