5th Annual AIB Conference on Emerging Research Frontiers in International Business

When: November 28 – December 1, 2007

Where:  Miami, Florida

SDSU CIBER will co-sponsor the Fifth Annual Academy of International Business Conference on Emerging Research Frontiers in International Business.  This year’s conference is hosted by the CIBER at Florida International University.

The conference is organized by the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) and is co-sponsored by Centers of International Business Education and Research from across the country. The 2007 conference theme is: "Conflict, Security and Political Risk: International Business in a Challenging Environment." The invited conference participants represent a broad cross-section of international scholarship; they range from advanced doctoral students to senior faculty and also include leading thinkers from the world of practice. At least half of the participants each year will be new to the conference, ensuring the exploration of fresh ideas. The JIBS editorial team attends the conference with the aim to maximize appreciation of emerging research themes.
