Assignment Three (Due 2/21/06, Tuesday)

My friend’s place-how to get there and what it is like

For this assignment, you are to give detailed directions to the place where your friend lives and then describe the place in detail. The total amount of time should be no less than five minutes.

Your friend will first give you the directions and the detailed description. You should take notes. A good way is to draw a route map and a blue print. If the picture turns out correct, then your partner has been accurate in the description and you have understood everything.

You then present the directions and description to the whole class. You can accompany your verbal description with diagram on the blackboard or overheads (which I can make for you if you give me the copy beforehand).

In the end, you record the directions and description on the tape and hand it in to me.
