  1. Design a price list.  Be sure to include wholesale and retail prices (you can use the second dialog in the text for the ratio between wholesale and retail prices).  You can refer to the one on page 118 for product ideas.  Better yet, use an English-Chinese dictionary.  Pay attention to the use of the right measure word.

 

  1. Write a dialog about a preliminary negotiation session similar to that in the text.  You should refer to the price list above in the dialog.  Pay attention to the tone of voice.  Use tact.  Use the same strategy of bargaining as that used in the second dialog.  You can use the writing exercises on page 118 for topic.
