How to Install Chinese Language Capability for MicroSoft XP

Go to control panel and click on “Regional and Language Options” represented by the globe icon:

Click on the language tab:

Click on Details:

In the Install Services window, you should see English already installed. Click on Add to the right to install additional languages and corresponding keyboards/Input methods. You may need your system software cd to load the required components.
