I am a licensed MFCC and would be interested in networking by providing an internship placement site for students. I supervise a group home program for emotionally disturbed children that are dependents of Child Protective Services. After receiving my undergraduate degree from SDSU I followed the recommendation of one of my instructors, Mr. Price, and atttended the California Family Studies Center and obtained my masters degree and then my MFCC license. I have been licensed since 1981 and have done private practice, working in psychiatric hospitals and residential treatment programs and currently supervise a group home program. I enjoy my job very much and didn't enjoy private practice at all--even though I was successful!
