Welcome to Spring 2012 with BAΨ

Beta Alpha Psi is a national honorary accountancy society for accounting, finance, and information system students. Our Beta Eta chapter has maintained superior status since Fall 1991.

Congratulations to our Deloitte Best Practices Teams! The team for Dealing with Changes took first place at our Regional Meeting and our teams for Social Networking and Thinking Out of the Box took second in their respective categories.

Beta Alpha Psi would like to invite you to take full advantage of the benefits and opportunities within our National Honorary Accounting Society. For further information, please see the brochure to right side of our website and apply on the tab above. Our deadline for applications is Thursday, February 23. Community Service

Interested in starting your community service by participating in Beta Alpha Psi’s one-on-one tutoring program? Please email Lydia Kohl at bapbetaeta.planning@gmail.com to get on the email list.

When a student contacts BAY for help, Lydia will email the tutors on the mailing list. Please respond to these emails, stating whether or not you are able to tutor.

If you end up being paired with a student, print the tutor log (available on the BAY website), fill it out for each tutoring session, and turn it in to Lydia by the end of the month.

Students are already looking for tutors! If you want to get a head start on your community services hours, please contact Lydia. Thank you.

March 3rd, Saturday, Financial Literacy Training (10:30am – 11:30am)
This training will be after our Saturday meeting and will train participants for the Financial Literacy Program at Crawford High School on March 16, 2012. Participants will learn the format of the program and their specific role. This will also count as an additional hour of community service assuming you attend the actual event.

Please contact Lydia Kohl at BAPBetaEta.planning@gmail.com to sign up for both events by 3/3/12.
