Sergeant First Class Jaime Lopez
Military Science Instructor
MS II Instructor / Operations NCO
SFC Lopez was born in Indio, California in 1977. He is married to Carmen Lopez and has two children Alexcia and Dezerae. He enlisted in to the U.S. Army in September 1999 as a PATRIOT Launching Station Enhanced Operator. He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and then moved on to Advanced Individual Training at Fort Bliss, Texas.
His assignments include 6/52 ADA in Ansbach Germany, 5/52 ADA in Fort Bliss, Texas, 1/43 ADA in the Republic of Korea, 2-1 ADA in Fort Hood, Texas and ROTC at San Diego State University.
SFC Lopez has held numerous positions which include Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Air Defense System Evaluator, and Military Science Instructor.
His deployments include South West Asia in 2001 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraq in 2003 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a graduate of Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course, and the Advanced Non-Commissioned Officers Course.
SFC Lopez’s decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, NCO Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, and the Overseas Service Ribbon.
