An aspect that makes our house so special and unique is our house parents, Nora and Rolly Peterson. Not
only do they look after the house and girls but they also add a sense of family warmth to the house. Nora
can often be found giving advice or giggling with the girls while Rolly lends a helping hand in
maintaining the house and making the girls feel secure. The girls in the house not only respect them for
all the work they put into the house, but also consider them friends that they can talk to and confide in.
Nora and Rolly are just another aspect that makes Alpha Phi stand apart from other sororities in the
sense that they give our house a real comfortable, homey feel. It is really such a treat to see their
friendly faces every day and to know that they are always there to answer questions or to talk to.
