When we met I remember the exact moment it hit me. So does she. Her knees buckled. I literally saw stars. The stars could have been from that flash of shock when I realized all that bunk in the books and movies about true love were actually, well, true. When I say "hit" me, I mean hit me. I mean impact. I mean collision. When asked what true love is I say it's like a tornado and she says it's like a house landing on you. And perhaps just to keep the wizard of oz theme going she used to grab me by the shoulders and say with a frightening look of glee, Surrender, Dorothy! Surrender! Used to scare the shit outta me, now I think it's kinda sweet.
