Gluttony

My reflection
has grown
beyond the
frame of
my looking
glass
As my
fingers
cannot
breach
my belt,
I cannot
see my
shoes

A gluttonous appetite run amuck,

greedily devouring all that falls

under the wanton gaze.

Morsels of
desire cling
to the lip,
as I wipe
away the
residue that
seeps down
my stubbled
chin
Quietly I savor the fallen blood

that bubbles from the bitten lip and

taste the of salt and tears enmeshed.

The insatiable
appetite
for attention
now stains
the cloth
that enshrouds
me
Enthralled by the bloated shape

in the mirror, I pass into

a sunset of bloody rage.
