Plato's saying

Carol K. Tohsaku was born in Los Angeles and raised in Southern California, where she attended the University of California, San Diego, UCSD, to complete a baccalaureate degree in linguistics with minors in economics and visual arts. While working at UCSD in admissions/registrars, international relations, computer science, academic advising and the School of Medicine, Carol became interested in computer technology and eventually completed her Master's in educational technology at San Diego State University, SDSU.

In 1998, Carol moved from UCSD to SDSU's Instructional Technology Services department to launch the BATS (Baseline Access, Training and Support) computer software training program for faculty, staff and students. The mission of BATS is to provide the SDSU community with "baseline" access to information resources via networks, training in the uses of baseline hardware and software systems, and ongoing professional and technical support for utilization of computer resources.
