The Fall 2007 Faculty Travel Grant cycle
is now open. Applications are due by October 19, 2007. Please view the current RFP for further details. As part of an ongoing effort to expand faculty
involvement in international research and education projects that
benefit students, the OIP supports international travel through
a competitive program. Deadlines and specific details will be posted
on this web site at the beginning of the Fall and Spring Semesters.
To date 550
faculty members have received funding to develop international study abroad opportunities for students. |

In the summer of 2007 SDSU professors led a group of twenty-two students to Estonia and Russia. The three week academic program exposed students to theories of conflict and conflict management. Along with the academic gains, students were able to study in the same classroom with Baltic and other European students. Program excursions allowed for immersion in new societies, providing a unique cross-cultural experience. |
