The Student Information Management System / Relational (SIMS/R) is the full suite of software which supports curriculum, facility, and student processing for both the regular university and for extended education. It contains software for processing applications for admission, for establishing and maintaining student records, for determining eligibility for various types of registration, for performing registration via touchtone or web. The software supports add/drop, grading, degree processing, Permanent Academic Record maintenance and production of academic record products, including transcripts.

SIMS/R replaces SIMS, which was the previous mainframe and terminal based product.

The core of SIMS/R was based on a product from the CASA Cooperative Administrative Systems Authority team. Current development has been passed to the Student Administration Collaborative (SAC). Please check their site for additional information about SIMS/R.
