Vice President for Faculty Affairs
Bonnie Zimmerman, Ph.D. assumed
the leadership of Faculty Affairs in May 2003. Dr. Zimmerman came to San
Diego State University in 1978 as a member of the
Women's Studies Dept. where she served as department chair from 1986-1992 and
from 1995-1997. She served as Chair of the University
Senate from 2001-2003.
As Associate Vice President for Faculty Affairs,
Dr. Zimmerman oversees
faculty evaluations, award programs,
leaves, resignations, retirements,
reduced worktime programs, personnel action files, visas, grievances,
complaints, litigation matters, reprimands, disciplinary actions,
and academic support.
