City Planning Program Advising

The MCP Program Faculty Advisor is Professor Roger W. Caves. He advises all MCP Program students in matters related to procedure, administration, and processing of official programs of study. In matters related to the substance and content of specific courses, students are encouraged to seek the advice of appropriate City Planning faculty as well as other faculty members within the School. Students meet with the Coordinator at least once each semester for purposes of curriculum planning. He also serves as Coordinator of the MCP Program.

The MCP Program conducts a student orientation session along with the other MCP faculty in August of each year. The purposes of this orientation are to acquaint incoming students with MCP Program philosophy and requirements, MCP faculty, other students, and career opportunities. (see Student Advising Guide).
