Gamma Phi Beta has more than 100 chapters across the United States and Canada with approximately 200,000 active members. The ladies of the Beta Lambda chapter of Gamma Phi Beta are involved in a variety of activities. Members of this chapter take an active roll in various honor societies, campus organizations such as student-to-student, competitive as well as professional dance and cheerleading teams like Champion All-Stars, The San Diego State Dance and Cheer Teams, Charger Girl's, and many other campus and Panhellenic organizations.

This past spring SDSU Gamma Phi's participated in their annual philanthropy, Crescent Bowl, in which members of both IFC and USFC fraternities competed against each other in an all day football tournament at the beach. The purpose of Crescent Bowl is to help raise funding for Camp Reach For The Sky, a summer camp for children with cancer. This fall Gamma Phi's are looking forward to many exciting activities like Parents Weekend, an all house retreat at the beach, social events with many fraternities, and our much anticipated semi-formal. The Gamma Phi's value the sisterhood that they share and the everlasting bonds of friendship. The objective of Gamma Phi Beta is to promote the highest type of womanhood through education, social life, and service to country and humanity.
