The Community Band, The More the Merrier, is our pool of local musicians who love to play music.
As you can see,
they
have
great
fun playing for
our
contra
dances.
Its leaders/coordinators are Karen Croot,
or Rick Johnson
who can answer any and all questions about the band and its music.
The Community Band is open to anyone who wants to participate
You should be able to play at least some of the tunes from the playlist and tune
annotations
The Community Band will play on select 2nd or 4th Saturday night dances (see
our schedule).
Sound setup/check runs 7-7:30 pm, the music will start
again at 8:00-11:00 p.m.
On 4th Saturday nights,
we feature a potluck from 6:30-7:15 p.m.
Join us for some good cheer, food, and lively conversation!
Come and play as much or as little as you like.
