How to Add a Class

You do not need to have an internship to add the class. By adding this course, you are making a commitment to locate a position and work for 150 hours within a one-year period.

For Spring and Fall semesters: Bring Forms #1 and #2 completely filled out to the Internship Program office in NH-327. Add codes are only available during the first 3 weeks of Fall and Spring semesters, or the first week of the Summer session.

Classes have enrollment limits, so plan to obtain your Add Code early in the semester before classes are full!

Note: If you have an internship, you must also bring Form #3 (your contract) with a signature from your supervisor.

When should you add the course?

  • Try to add in the semester before you plan to begin your internship, especially if you are planning on going abroad. REMEMBER: no matter which semester you choose to add, you will have one full year to complete the course requirements, or you have up until the month you intend to graduate (if that is less than one year).
