AMM manages retirement and investment accounts of all kinds, as well as two public no-load mutual funds. The firm's mission is to help clients increase their wealth and/or increase income thru proper diversification and risk management. AMM now handles over 1000 client relationships nationwide from it's Rancho Santa Fe offices. We are looking to hire a full time "Personal Portfolio Manager," and a "Relationship Manager." The candidate(s) will be responsible for between 100 and 200 client accounts. Our firm receives a large number of inquiries from prospects every month, so strong sales and people skills are essential. Incentive fees and management fees are generally shared on accounts the candidate brings to AMM. Duties include portfolio management and client relationship management, including retirement and financial planning. Compensation includes a monthly guarantee, profit sharing, and health coverage. Attention to detail is a must as this person will be in charge of managing our online optical system, which can be excessive at times. Office management experience and securities and/or insurance knowledge is a plus. We are looking for someone who would be happy in this type of position for at least 2 years. Candidates must have completed the CFP program in their undergraduate work and be ready to sit for the CFP exam within one year of their hire date.
