Admission

SDSU Certificate in Personal Financial Planning

Participants who successfully complete the program with a B- (2.7) weighted average in the six courses will be awarded an SDSU Certificate in Personal Financial Planning. As this is a CFP Board-Registered Program, the certificate qualifies you to sit for the CFP Board’s comprehensive exam. Students who do not earn a 2.7 average must repeat necessary classes as a paid student until their average meets the B- requirement.

Fees

The current fee for the program is approx $7,000, but it paid by class; a 3 unit class is $1236 and 2 unit class $824. Refunds are not made after the second session of the class. And a late fee will be charged for student not paid at that time. Materials cannot be provided until payment is received. The University reserves the right to increase these rates as necessary, and may do so after a budget review after each Finance 705 class. Any increase will affect continuing students.
