Our mission for the "Catch the Wave to Success" Pre-health Conference is to raise awareness and educate interested and prospective students and attendees about various pre-health careers and opportunities offered throughout the world by completing the following objectives:

    • To educate pre-health students on contemporary and relevant topics within their health field.
    • To promote leadership and advancement within a pre-health student’s particular health field.
    • To help pre-health students learn more about the programs, facilities, and admissions procedures for different health schools in their field of interest.
    • To promote careers in the health field to students who have not already decided upon a career goal.

This pre-health conference is an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about the various careers in the health care field first-hand from the experts. Students can speak to admissions officers from the fields of medicine, dentistry, optometry, veterinary, pharmacy and podiatry. Students will gain an edge by learning what admissions officers look for and finding out what steps to take toward a becoming a competitive applicant.
