Dr. Dennis Kimbro
Noted author, scholar, and motivational speaker
On October 14, 2005, the San Diego State University Sports Business Management MBA program hosted a guest appearance by Dr. Dennis Kimbro, noted author, scholar, and motivational speaker. Dr. Kimbro received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Oklahoma, and earned a doctorate degree from Northwestern University, where he studied wealth and poverty among underdeveloped countries.
A veteran motivational speaker who has addressed board rooms at General Motors, Walt Disney, Frito-Lay, and Wells Fargo, Dr. Kimbro advised students about attaining success in the highly competitive sports industry.
Dr. Kimbro highlighted his lifelong study of what makes great leaders great, and prompted students to organize their personal ambitions and strive to reach their goals.
