Lamden Family School of Accountancy Donation Challenge

Accountancy alumni looking for a great investment have found it right here in the College of Business. Thanks to the generosity of Gertrude M. Lamden and the Lamden Family, School of Accountancy graduates have a unique opportunity to double their impact on the School. Mrs. Lamden has provided a challenge grant in honor of her late husband, Charles W. Lamden, founding Dean of the College of Business Administration and faculty member in the School of Accountancy, to match dollar-for-dollar every new and increased gift to the School of Accountancy up to $55,000.
All funds raised through the challenge will go to support faculty and student excellence and ensure the School of Accountancy can continue to attract, retain and invest in world-class faculty and programs. New faculty are an essential ingredient in keeping the School at the forefront of accounting education and providing new and innovative approaches to learning for our students. “We our confident our alumni are pleased and proud of their education and will give back to the program that helped launch their success,” said Sharon Lightner, director of the School of Accountancy.
