During the month of December, staff and faculty at San Diego State University’s College of Business Administration collected several large boxes of toys, office supplies, grooming products and clothing to donate to the Monarch School near downtown San Diego. On Dec. 17, all the goodies were delivered to the school for distribution to children enrolled there.

Founded in 1988, Monarch School provides homeless and at-risk children with an accredited education while caring for their basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter and basic hygiene. Today, more than 100 kids between the ages of 7 and 18 are enrolled at Monarch School.

The gifts were handed out to the Monarch students during the school’s Christmas party on December 21.
