Gail K. Naughton, Ph.D., Dean

Gail became dean of the SDSU College of Business in August 2002.

 

 

Notable Programs

Entrepreneurial Management Center: Graduate classes in entrepreneurship; Venture Challenge—annual business plan competition; Annual distinguished lecturer in entrepreneurship.

The International Business program is the largest of its kind in the US and arguably one of the best. The undergraduate level, requires students to study a second language; to study an area of regional/cultural specialization; to have a business specialization; to complete an internship; to study or complete an internship abroad; and finally, to have a language exit examination in order to graduate!

MEXUS: First and only US-Mexican dual undergraduate business degree program.

Project AMIGOS (American Management Initiative for Global Operating Skills) is a transnational, undergraduate, dual-degree program in Management offered by The College of Business Administration and sponsored by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, Business in International Education Program.

Center for International Business Education & Research: Supports the largest US undergraduate program in international business, federally funded since 1988 

Project North America: NAFTA-type program where students from the United States, Canada and Mexico study in all three countries and do two foreign internships.

Aztec Business Alliance:
Provides student consulting services and interns to local companies and organizations.

Executive MBA

Executive Financial Planner

Graduate Tax Program: Considered by the "Big Four " accounting firms to be among the top 20 in the United States.
