NEWS

The Spring 2008 online registration began on Tuesday, January 15, 2008.

Faculty and staff workshops start on Friday, January 18th with Blackboard Introduction. Student workshops start on February 11th with Word Document Formatting and Thesis Template..

To register online, all SDSU faculty, staff and students need to use your SDSU Red ID, name, email address, phone number, department (faculty/staff) or class level for students.

Blackboard, Turnitin.com, Wimba, and Clickers workshops at ITS available for Faculty & Academic Affairs Staff

 

 

BATS (Baseline Access, Training and Support) is a California State University initiative to provide all students, faculty, and staff with "baseline" access to information resources via networks, training in the uses of baseline hardware and software systems, and ongoing professional and technical support for utilization of computer resources at San Diego State University. The BATS program is part of Instructional Technology Services.

The ITS-BATS program offers a wide range of computer access, training and support to the SDSU community throughout the year. Thousands of faculty, staff and students have already benefited from the services listed below.

Training

Each semester the following workshops are taught by knowledgeable and experienced instructors.

  • Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Photoshop for computer graphics
  • Web page and web form creation
  • Dreamweaver for web creation and design
  • Blackboard, Wimba, Clickers, and Turnitin for Faculty
