Collections Management link takes you to the archaeological collections curated at San Diego State University. The program has an active research program with opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to undertake independent studies and internships.
San Diego Archaeological Center link takes you to the SDAC site that is dedicated to preserving and curating both historic and prehistoric archaeological artifacts. It also promotes the educational, cultural, and scientific use of archaeological collections through partnerships with the cultural groups and the communities it serves.
South Coastal Information Center link directs visitors to the San Diego County center that houses all information pertinent to this area's archaeological and historical sites. For a fee, specific information can be provided to anyone who has an interest.
The San Diego State University Occasional Archaeological Papers (The SOAP) link takes you to a free academic journal focusing on the archaeology of, by, and for San Diego. It provides a free and accessible conduit for research, analysis, and scholarship of San Diego archaeology and the work of San Diego archaeologists. Intended for a professional audience, the SOAP is published in both paper and electronic forms. It endeavors to publish articles that are original, relevant, rigorous, informative, and scholarly.

Guide to Anthropological Research at SDSU link is a great starting point for anyone beginning research about an anthropologically related subject. It provides information about the library at SDSU, the PAC library system, databases to explore, the Human Relations Area Files (HRAF), and other Internet resources.

Information about their annual meeting, employment opportunities, publications, policies, news, ethics, other sections, and membership application process can all be easily obtained at this site. In addition, a diverse selection of other anthropologically related web sites could also be reached from links that are found at this site.
Anthropological Index Online link connects you to the search engine for all journals (going back to 1957) held within the Anthropology Library at the British Museum.
Anthropology in the News link is through the Anthropology department at Texas A&M and it presents connections to web based news dealing with anthropological matters. Recent news is found on the home page and just less than two years worth of archived news is maintained under sub-discipline names.
Ethnologue link brings alive the world's languages. This site, which is maintained by the service organization SIL International, provides language bibliographies, computer resources, a bookstore, language maps, and information on the world's languages and their relations.
Kinship and Social Organization link brings you to an interactive tutorial for Kinship and Social Organization based on Brian Schwimmer's AAA presentation. This interactive tutorial is very helpful with clear diagrams, explanations, and answers.
Society for Applied Anthropology link connects you with the homepage of this group whose vision is the application of anthropological perspectives and methods to solve human problems worldwide. Information concerning the annual meeting, membership, job vacancies, forums, news, publications, awards, committees, and a special section on environmental anthropology are some of the highlights.
Society for California Archaeology link delivers you to the homepage for this active society. From this homepage, visitors can find out how to join the society, read a newsletter, search for jobs, learn about the next annual meeting, check out field schools, other computer links, and watch for upcoming events on a calendar.
Summer Institute of Linguistics link connects to the homepage of what is now known as SIL International. This organization works with language communities worldwide to promote language based development. This organization has academic links at their site with Anthropology, Computing, Sociolinguistics, and Linguistics, among other groups.
