Allan R. Bailey is the former Dean of College of Business Administration from 1979-1997. During 1993-94 as the President of the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business, the accrediting agency for business schools, he helped shape the future of management education in the United States.
Under his leadership, the College has attracted many top faculty, established a federally funded Center for International Business Education and Research, developed a new major in International Business, created the Entrepreneurial Management Center, and established a research facility to explore applications of the emerging groupware technology. Bailey is active in the business and academic communities, speaking frequently on globalization, entrepreneurship, accounting, and management education.
In 1979 he received the Faculty Excellence Award and in 1993 the Distinguished Professor Award from the California CPA Society. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Beta Alpha Psi.

is the Financial & Managerial Accounting Course in the first year program and provides a foundation understanding of the role of accounting from a managerial perspective.
